A traditional village hall that used to be the Old school. Many events are catered for, private parties, theatre groups, clubs, sporting clubs but we do not take bookings for teenage parties up to 21yrs.
MAIN HALL this room can safely accommodate 80 people it is 11.3 x 8.9m, it has 13 (1.5 x .7m) folding tables + 50 chairs with bench seating around the perimeter. A bouncy castle can be used in this space.
DERWENT ROOM this room can accommodate 20 people. 5.7m x 4.9m with 6 (0.9m sq) tables and 20 chairs. It has a moveable bar, 2.4m x .75m with an assortment of glassware needed for a licensed bar.
Toilet facilities including disabled toilet and baby changing table.
KITCHEN equipped with a large modern electric range cooker and suitable cookware. Fridge, kettles, water boiler and double sink. There is 50+ sets of crockery ie cups/saucers/tea & dinner plates/dessert & soup dishes plus cutlery and glassware.
There is only a small area to the front of the hall that should be left clear for disabled parking, There is a car park approx 100yds down the road which will take 12 cars or careful on street parking.
