The Goole and Pocklington Constituency will become a reality when the next general election is called. 

Formerly Pocklington was part of the East Yorkshire constituency which was formed in 1997, however as part of the 2023 national review the boundary commision recommened and the House of Commons agreed the formation of the new constituency of Goole and Pocklington. 

The constituency includes Goole, Howden, South Hunsley and Pocklington.
