YORK AMBULANCE WAITING TIMES HIGHER THAN UK AVERAGE.

According to the latest figures from an online BBC tracker 50% of ambulances waited 30 minutes or more to hand over their patients at York Hospital during the week starting 26 December 2022. This is higher than the UK average of 44% and 26% at the hospital in 2019.
Of the 49,429 patients on the waiting list in October 2022, 46% were waiting longer than the target of 18 weeks for routine treatments.
In November 2022 31% of A&E patients waited longer than 4 hours compared with 24% in 2019.
