Across on the Bugle Facebook group some local people have expressed concern about the loss of car parking on two busy days in the run up to Christmas whilsts small traders have commenetd that £120 for a stall for two days is far too expensive.

The organisers are Dowse Events who say the Pocklington Christmas Market experience will be like anything you would expect to find in major European Cities.

Road closure orders have already been applied for and the company has been working with ERYC and liasing with Pocklington Town Clerk Gordon Scaife.

So far as the Bugle is aware the Pocklington Festival will still be taking place on 26 November.
