News from the Town Clerk of Pocklington

It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas and the Town Council planning has already started. One of the things we have decided to do is set up a working group to help plan it. The first meeting will be on Wednesday 22nd February at 6pm in The Old Courthouse, George Street, Pocklington, YO42 2DH.

Please come along if you would like to help or have ideas to make our celebrations bigger.

The events the Council runs are the Christmas Market which will be on Sunday 26th November. Carols with the Mayor, a Christmas themed trail around the shops and businesses (naughty elf) and the Christmas Tree Festival which is held in partnership with All Saints Parish Church.
