CONSERVATIVE ELECTION CANDIDATE CANNOT SUPPORT PARTIES LACK OF AMBITION FOR POCKLINGTON.

One of the three prospective Conservative candidates for Pocklington Provincial has announced that he would not be standing at the May 2023 local elections.
Patrick John could no longer support the local Conservative’s narrative and campaign that he considered did not fairly represent the whole of the Pocklington area.
It is his belief the local Conservative campaign is very narrowly focussed on a small number of issues and voters that does not represent the whole community or does nothing to help or address the issues faced by the residents of Pocklington town.
He decided to stand down on principle as considered the Conservative message locally was tired and out of touch with the residents. He could no longer support the misinformation and lack of ambition in the Conservative’s campaign for the Pocklington community.
