At last weeks Town Meeting a member of the public raised the chaotic situation on Bridge Street caused by parked cars.

Although this is a bottleneck, parking is allowed on one side of Bridge Street but not the other. This is particularly problematic at school drop off and collection times and when large lorries are on the road.

It came to light that town councillors had already raised the issue with ward councillors who were talking to ERYC highways about the possibility of double yellow lines on both sides of the road to improve traffic flow.
