In response to questions from the ERYC highways officers the civil engineers working on the Barmby Moor Leisure Park development have stated that the onsite shop/cafe and petting zoo will be for the benefit of residents only and are not an ‘attraction’ for non-residents. No additional traffic will therefore be generated by these facilities.

The engineers have estimated that the development will generate 97 trips each weekday (peaking at 12 per hour between 5 and 6pm) and 117 trips on a Saturday and Sunday (peaking at 13 per hour between 1 and 2pm).
