ANOTHER CONFIDENTIAL SESSION SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAYS MEETING
It is normal for parish councils to discuss matters in confidence to protect sensitive information, comply with legal obligations, and ensure fair decision-making.
Usually when this happens the agenda provides some basic information about what the discussion will be about e.g. ‘to discuss bids for grass cutting’.
Friday’s agenda does not include any information about the topic for discussion. Once again, I ask – what is it that is so sensitive it cannot be discussed in front of residents?
By the way a notice about Friday’s meeting has been pinned on the official PC notice board.
