We invite you to a free event where you can find out about the help and support on offer to community groups and charities in the Pocklington area. We will be at Pocklington Rugby Club, Burnby Lane, Pocklington, YO42 2QB on Friday 27th January between 10am and 1pm.
We’re commissioned by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to support community organisations and groups across the county, and we want as many charities and groups as possible to know about what is available to support the work you do. In case you don’t already know, the help we give includes governance advice; support through the grant finding and application process; a free equipment hire service and guidance on how to attract and manage volunteers and training.
Our team will be joined by a variety of guests and partners, giving attendees the chance to learn about everything from green social prescribing to digital empowerment.
We want charities and groups to have the know-how to be beacons in their communities, particularly as we cope with the cost-of-living crisis. So, please feel free to share this invitation with likeminded organisations.
You can simply turn up on the day, however to make sure we have enough refreshments it would be helpful to book your free place hereor by contacting the team by calling 01482 590270 or emailing [email protected].
Wishing you a very wonderful peaceful festive break and we look forward to hopefully seeing you in the new year.
